The Founder's Log: May 2021 Update

May has just completed, and here are Kimbley IT's Assistance and Support results for May.

These results were taken quickly and simply by Google Data Studio, a no-code way to analyse your business data and gets included in the IT Assitance and Support package offered to you and our clients!

We were contacted 82 times by subscribers this month. Out of these contacts, 86.6% were for assistance (where someone wants to know or get shown how to do something better). The remaining 13.4% of requests were for support (where something is not working as it should).

Out of these requests, 64 subscribers returned to work in under 5 minutes of their first message. Fourteen took more than five minutes but less than 30 minutes to return to work. Three were over 30 minutes to sort out, and for one subscriber, it took over an hour to sort them out as they needed to contact a third-party support provider to get their software working.

Most users, 93.9%, got in contact with us through Instant Messaging (the quickest way to reply). Four opted to go the slow way and use email to get in touch, and one decided to text a support technician! They're lucky they got a reply as it is not an approved way to get in contact.

We believed that 64.6% of these contacts would not have occurred if the businesses these subscribers worked for invested in regular training.
