How to stop an email going into your spam folder in Gmail.

Gmail is generally very good at identify spammy emails. Sometimes you may find that an email from a certain sender tends to keep going into your Gmail spam folder.

You can stop this from happening by creating a filter that prevents future emails from the sender ending up in your spam folder.

Here’s how you stop an email going to spam:

  • Click on the downward arrow at the end of the search box in Gmail.

  • Next, enter the email address or domain of the senders whose emails you want to prevent from ending up in your Gmail spam folder in the “From” box. Click “Create Filter”.

  • Finally, put a tick next to “Never send it to Spam” you can optionally put a tick next to “Also apply filter to X matching conversations” to apply this new filter retrospectively.

  • Once done click “Create filter

  • Future emails should no longer end up in your spam folder.
