The Founder's Log Podcast - November 2023 Recap

In November, James attended a school PA meeting to have over a price that Kimbley IT funded for their Christmas Auction fundraising event. Coincidently, one of the agenda items being discussed was ways to raise awareness among families about the dangers of unmonitored access to the Internet for young children.

In a spot of good timing, we recently published this blog post on using Cloudflare for Families to help protect against adult and harmful content. The school then shared this blog post with the 500-plus families with children at the school, which helped many parents keep their children safer online.

November Assistance and Support Statistics

Subscribers contacted us 118 times. 96 got in touch to request assistance (they want to know how to do something better). In comparison, 22 asked for support (something that needs looking at).

Of those who sent a message for assistance asking how to do something better, 79 received a response within five minutes, now being able to do something better than they could before. 17 received a reply and returned to work within five and thirty minutes.

Out of the subscribers sending a message for support, 6 received a response and returned to doing their work within five minutes. 14 received a reply and returned to their work within thirty minutes. Two took over an hour to complete. One subscriber was particularly difficult to deal with in these two instances, and we had to report them to their line manager.

112 contacted us through our unique instant messaging service! The quickest way to get in contact. Three emailed, Two phoned, and one contacted us via video call.

The stats show that two subscribers would not have gotten in contact if the companies they worked for had offered regular training through Learning Sessions by Kimbley IT.
