The Founder's Log - December 2022

Hello and Happy New Year! So let's look at how December 2022 worked out for Kimbley IT.

December started with a site visit to Global Pump and Seal, which has partnered with Kimbley IT for nearly a decade. They also featured in one of our first client stories seven years ago. As always, they are delighted with the service they continue to get, and their banter is still on form!

We also visit Inform Accounting, which has been with Kimbley IT for at least eight years and has starred in several client stores. They recently moved to a new location in Sutton Coldfield. This visit was to check that the IT is working well and that all the new team members they have newly onboarded were familiar with the systems. Using Google Workspace by Kimbley IT naturally meant that the new starters had no trouble using Gmails, Calendar and Drive as many use the consumer version in their private lives.

December finished with a flurry of businesses contacting us about our services and booking video calls to find out more and meet the personalities behind Kimbley IT.

New Videos

One new video went live on our YouTube Channel:

For the first time, we emailed this video to our client base rather than just announcing it on social media. Clients used the video to send their Christmas Wishes emails to clients using the new feature in Gmail.

New Blog Posts

Two new blogs went live:

December Assistance and Support Statistics

In December, we got contacted 76 times by subscribers. Of those getting in touch, 58 requested assistance (they want to know how to do something better). The remaining 18 asked for support (something needs to get fixed).

61.8% (47) of subscribers who sent a message to us received a response and returned to doing their work within five minutes. 38.2% (29) received a reply and returned to their work within 30 minutes.

Sixty-nine subscribers contacted us through our unique instant messaging service! And seven subscribers opted to email.

The stats show eleven subscribers would not have gotten in contact if the companies they worked for had offered regular training through Learning Sessions by Kimbley IT.
