How much data can you store on Google Drive?
Google Drive is the area of Google Workspace by Kimbley IT where you can store all your files, from documents to videos, to graphics and more. Each of your employees gets access to up to 5TB of space to keep their work, but this space is pooled so for example, in a ten users business your employees would have access to an incredible 50TB of storage!
Enough space for everyone
You may have a copyrighter producing fantastic pieces of copy all saved to Google Drive - but they're unlikely ever to use the full 5TB of data that they have access too. Most Word documents are less than 1MB in size, so your copywriter would need to produce more than 5 million documents to fill up 5TB of space! While you may also have a videographer producing visually stunning 4K videos to go along with the work the copywriter is producing. It is likely over time that the videographer may need more than the 5TB of data that they initially got, and this is where pooled storage comes into play. With pooled storage, each uses 5TB is available to all users in the organisation. So all that space the copywriter is not using can now be used by the videographer to store all the videos they are creating - and you didn't need to purchase any extra space.
The amount of pooled storage you have is based on the number of users in your company. So a business with ten team members will have access to 5TB x 10 Users = 50TB of space to store all the companies files or the equivalent of 50,000,000 Word documents! Which they can then access and edit from everywhere.
